Our
Story
Get to Know Us
Shea Studio, formerly known as La Amorah, was purchased from the previous owner, Aubrey Schwoyer, in 2024. Ramsi saw this as a chance to fulfill her dream and make her mark on the beauty industry. Changing the name to Shea Studio was a deliberate choice; "Shea" is Ramsi’s cherished middle name, representing her aspiration to create a space that blends modernity with comfort.
Having graduated from Kutztown High School and the Berks Career & Technology Center, Ramsi embarked on her journey in business management at Kutztown University. Balancing her studies with hands-on experience at La Amorah, Ramsi honed her skills and nurtured her vision for a salon that would redene client experience.
After managing La Amorah from 2021 onward, Ramsi’s dedication and ambition culminated in the opportunity to purchase the salon. Shea Studio was born from Ramsi’s desire to innovate and elevate, blending modern aesthetics with a comforting ambiance that feels like home. Her journey is a testament to perseverance, passion, and the pursuit of excellence in beauty and client care.
